Horizon Care has been named Best Home Care Provider in the 2026 South Yorkshire Business Awards.

The result is listed by Business Awards UK in its regional South Yorkshire winners announcement.

The Yorkshire-based family business supports people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs to live in their homes and communities.

Recognition for the team

Managing director Emma Reeve said the award was a proud moment for the organisation and a recognition of its staff's work.

In the company's announcement, she said: “This award belongs to our whole team and recognises the compassion, commitment and hard work they bring to supporting people every single day.”

Horizon says it was founded after a member of the family needed care and support. Its approach focuses on involving people in decisions about their own lives and the assistance they receive.

A business award, not a regulatory rating

The title is a result in an independent business awards programme. It should not be confused with a Care Quality Commission inspection rating or a guarantee about an individual's care.
