Women aged 45 and over can book free weekly physiotherapy sessions at Rotherham's United Multicultural Centre from Wednesday 14 October 2026.
The sessions will take place from 1pm to 2pm at the centre, 59-63 Carlisle Street, S65 1HA. Village Physio says the charity-funded programme will focus on gentle movement, strength, balance and confidence with everyday activities.
What the sessions involve
The group will use mainly chair-based exercises, with activities adapted to different abilities and mobility needs. According to the organisers, no previous fitness experience or GP referral is required.

The sessions are led by a chartered physiotherapist. Village Physio says they are intended to help women who may feel less confident about attending conventional exercise classes, including those experiencing stiffness or difficulties with balance and movement.
Light refreshments will be available afterwards, giving participants time to meet and talk with other women attending the group.
