Lord Hardy Court in Rawmarsh has been rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission following an inspection in June. The Rotherham Council-run care home supports older people, including those living with dementia, as well as people with learning disabilities.
Inspectors found the service continues to provide safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led support for residents. The report highlights the kind, caring and respectful approach of staff, with residents and families sharing positive feedback about their experiences.
What inspectors found
Inspectors found that people feel safe and well supported and there are strong relationships between staff and residents. Minor issues relating to medicine management, such as record-keeping and storage checks, were identified and addressed immediately by staff.
Council's wider performance
This follows an earlier rating of 'Good' for Rotherham Council's Adult Social Care Service following a separate CQC inspection earlier in the year.
