Rotherham United have signed striker Paul Mullin on a two-year deal. The 31-year-old joins from Wrexham, where his contract was terminated by mutual consent in June.

Career at Wrexham

Mullin scored 91 goals in 148 league appearances for Wrexham as the Red Dragons won promotion from the National League up to the Championship. His last league appearance for the club came in January 2025.

Recent Loan Spells

Last season Mullin spent time on loan in League One with Wigan Athletic and then Bradford City. He scored four goals across 29 appearances for the two clubs combined. He failed to score in nine appearances for Bradford.

Form in Lower Divisions

Rotherham will hope Mullin can rediscover the form he showed in his previous two campaigns in League Two. He scored 32 goals in 46 games to help Cambridge United to promotion in 2020-21 and then netted 24 times in 38 matches as Wrexham went up to League One in 2023-24.

First Match

Mullin could make his debut for Rotherham in the EFL Cup first round tie against West Brom on Saturday, 8 August.
